The Boykin Spaniel Invasion is Here
March 4, 2019
For months, the Camden Archives and Museum and the Tourism Department of the City of Camden have been working on a new trail marker program. This program, Boykin Spaniel Invasion!™ is ready for visitors.

Eleven small bronze statues created by artist Mary Deas Boykin Wortley, great great granddaughter of Whit Boykin the founder of the breed, are located around downtown Camden. A Facebook page @boykinspaniel and a website page www.boykinspanielinvasion.com have the clues to each location. Printed brochures can also be picked up at the Camden Archives and Museum.
Follow the clues and find the puppies - you'll have a great tour of Camden! If you find all the puppies, take your picture with the puppies, and post the images to our facebook page, we'll send you a Certificate of Discovery.
Enjoy the puppies and your tour of Camden.
