The Boykins Are Coming! The Boykins Are Coming!

April 3-9 is Boykin Spaniel Week and Camden is getting ready for an invasion!  But this time, no divided loyalties - we all LOVE South Carolina's own Boykin Spaniel.   

The Boykin Spaniel Society will be holding their annual National Field Championship in Camden, Rembert, and Boykin.  This year, the Society is expecting a huge turnout of dogs and handlers. 

In conjuntion with Boykin Spaniel Week, the Camden Archives & Museum invites everyone to come and view our exhibit on SC's little brown dog.  Admission is free and, this week only, dogs receive a treat!

The City of Camden, with lots of help from local merchants and the Boykin Spaniel Society, is having a "puppy hunt."  The Great Camden Boykin Spaniel Puppy Hunt takes place all week.  All participants have to do is locate eight "little brown dogs." What could be easier.... or more fun!
