Meet our first responders at Firefest 2018

Every year, the Camden Fire Department hosts FireFest.  This is a great family event that kicks off Fire Prevention Week (October 7-13). 

FireFest 2018 is free to the public and is lots of fun!  It begins at 9:00am with a parade of antique and modern fire trucks in downtown Camden.  Then the activities move to the City Arena at Bull and Broad.   

The goal is to promote awareness about fire safety and our firefighters will make it a fun lesson!  Activities include demonstrations, a Kid's Zone, music, and food.  Returning as a special guest  is Richland County Sherriff's Department Lieutenant Danny Brown, from "Live PD".

FireFest is from 9 am - 2 pm this Saturday, September 29th at the Camden City Arena.
