September is heating up

Our September calendar is packed with both indoor and outdoor activities.  Kicking off the month is the 10th Annual Sprindale 5K run benefitting the United Way of Kershaw County.  This September 7th run is an USATF officially regulated run and walk.  If you'd rather enjoy a less... active... event, the Gorget Distilling Company is debuting their Bayonet Whiskey form 12 pm to 6pm on the same day.  Or you can run in the morning and relax in the afternoon!

The rest of the month offers a US FITASC Grand Prix event at Hermitage Shooting Sports, the Camden Fall Classic at the SC Equine Center, fishing tournaments on Lake Wateree, a Fall Craft Fair at Proctor Hall, numerous events at the Fine Arts Center, and the 3rd Annual Revolutionary Run Half Marathon at Historic Camden.

The 24th Annual Firefest will close out the month with a family friendly festival that focuses on fire safety.
