Time to hit the lake...

Lake Wateree provides some of the best fishing in South Carolina.  B.A.S.S. just listed it in their top 25 lakes in the southeast for bass and it's long been known for black crappie and catfish.  The lake's 216 miles of shoreline has 14 public access areas.  The SC Department of Natural Resources freshwater fishing report provides some pointers for fishermen. Don't forget, a valid SC fishing license is required!
