December is here and Camden is ready.  The lights are twinkling down Main Street and the clock house tower is lit like a Christmas Tree!  Camden's Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place Thursday, December 1 at 6:00pm.  After that, holiday offerings don't stop until December 25th.  The Steeplechase Museum is holding the SC Jewelry Designers Show and Sale on December 1 and the Fine Arts Center's Holiday Sales Show opens on December 2.  Old McCaskill's Farm Trunk Show takes place on Sunday, December 4th.

The 40th Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes takes place on Saturday, the 10th and Historic Camden's Colonial Christmas is Thursday, December 15th.

Every weekend will feature a parade - the Elgin Catfish Stomp on December 3, the Kershaw County Christmas Parade and the Lights of Lugoff Parade on December 10, and the Bethune Christmas Parade on December 17.  The ever popular Boykin Christmas Parade takes place on Sunday, the 18th.  This is always a crowd pleaser!
