The Colonial Cup

Every fall, Camden's iconic Marion duPont Scott Colonial Cup provides the season's grand finale - often deciding which horse of the year will garner the famous Eclipse Award.

Established in 1970 as part of the state's Tricentennial Celebration, the Colonial Cup is a memorial to the founder of the eminent race meet and benefactress of the course, Marion duPont Scott.  The Colonial Cup attracts 10,000 racing fans and also features the Paddock Shops Village and the Jack Russell Terrier Trials.   Bring the kids and the grandkids, enjoy the thrill of the steeplechase, and make a host of memories on this family day in the country.
