The Bonds Conway House

Bonds Conway House, 811 Fair St., Camden, SC

The Bonds Conway House, circa 1810, was built by Bonds Conway, believed to be the first African American in Camden to buy his freedom.

The restored structure currently serves as the office of the Kershaw County Historical Society.
