The Carolina Cup 

The Carolina Cup steeplechase race meet draws over 70,000 people every spring to Camden, SC. The annual event features six races and a sea of fans in sundresses, hats, and bowties.

Race Course & Equine Park

Springdale Race Course is the home of the Carolina Cup. The National Steeplechase Museum is located on the grounds of the racecourse. 

The South Carolina Equine Park (SCEP) is a 60-acre center that accommodates a full range of activities, like hunters/jumpers, quarter horses, paint horses, dressage, ranch horse shows, breed shows, and youth events. 

The Camden Hunt

The Camden Hunt is the second oldest hunt in South Carolina. The hunt maintains a professional huntsman, kennel, and between 20 to 25 couple of hounds. Hounds meet on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Thanksgiving Day through mid-March.
