N. R. Goodale State Park
Located five miles northeast of Camden, the 763-acre N. R. Goodale State Park abounds with tall cypress trees that enchant the eye, a Civil War-era mill pond home to a variety of wildlife and plant life, some of the best kayaking in South Carolina and a one and a half mile, sandy nature trail. The park also features boat access to the 140 acre lake, a picnic area, pedal boats, swimming, and a meeting facility. A little-known paddling trail winds for three miles through cypress trees and aquatic plants and is perfect for wilderness canoe trips.
A longtime community favorite, Goodale is sure to please!
